The Behavior Plan Tracking System in BlueStep is a comprehensive behavior management tool that allows for the identification and evaluation of behavioral symptoms.
Each resident in a community has a resident chart, which is called a resident record in BlueStep. All of the resident's information is accessed from their resident record.
Nursing Notes allow the ability to document a medical note in a resident record, track events, identify resident specific trends and connect nursing progress notes to Behavior Plans, Incident Reports or any specific Trackable Event.
The Alert Charting Feature, also known as Short Term Monitor, provides a way to track a residents health status and/or events for a specified amount of time which requires monitoring, documentation and follow up. Many times the information obtained through Alert Charting may signify a change in condition. Included in this module is the staff documentation report for easy charting along with late documentation alerts.
