Staff Certifications, Credentials, and Health History

Learn how to access and add staff certifications, staff credentials, and staff health history.

Navigate to the Staff Record

  1. Click on "Select Staff" under the "HR" tab.
  2. Select a staff member.
  3. The staff "Record Summary" page displays the staff certifications, credentials, and health history under their respective section headers.
  • This same information can also be accessed by clicking on the respective link under the "Employment" dropdown. All of the examples given in this help topic will be accessed from the "Record Summary" page.

Add a New Staff Certification

  1. Click the "New Entry" button in the "Certifications/Inservice" section header.
  2. Fill out the form.
    • Manually enter the certification name, and/or select a certification type from the dropdown.
    • A document can be added if needed.
    • Notes can also be added if needed.
    • The "Date Issued" field is the date that the certification was issued. The "Date Expires" field is the date that the certification expires. The expiration date is especially important, because the staff member or administrator will automatically be alerted of the expiring certification up to 30 days before it expires.
  3. Click the "Save" button to finish.

Add a New Staff Credential

  1. Click the "New Entry" button in the "Credentials" section header.
  2. Fill out the form.
    • Select the credential type from the dropdown.
    • Enter the dates for the credential.
    • A certificate number can be added if needed.
  3. Click the "Save" button to finish.

Enter Staff Health History Information

  1. Click on the "Health History" section header.
  2. Fill out the form.
    • The medical information of the staff member will be entered here.
    • Select allergies if the staff member has any. If the staff member is allergic to something not on this list, the allergy can be listed in the text box below.
    • Enter the immunization history information for the staff member. Documentation of a TB test can be uploaded if applicable.
  3. Click the "Save" button to finish.
