'Prepare' MAR Signature

A Prepare Signature (Med Pour/Staging) on a Medication Administration Record (MAR) serves several vital functions: it confirms that the medication was prepared correctly according to prescribed instructions, holds the preparer accountable for accuracy and appropriateness, allows traceability in case of issues or adverse events, ensures compliance with healthcare facility protocols and legal requirements, provides complete and accurate documentation of the medication administration process, and prompts a final safety check to prevent errors. This crucial step ensures accuracy, accountability, and safety in resident care.

Enable Feature

To enable this feature, navigate to the Community tab, then to Community Record, and
access the Setup tab. Proceed to Medications and select Setup: Medication System. Within
this form, scroll down to the MAR GENERATION section and select "Make Prepare Signature
Available on the MAR." Ensure to SAVE the form once this option is selected
